Description: DIT provides a data network service providing connectivity from the user's data network socket to the CSU intranet and to the internet
Details: An extensive wired data network is provided allowing staff and students to connect to various networked technologies within and external to CSU allowing network computers and related technologies to communicate.
Service Availability: 24 Hours a Day - 7 Days a Week
Support Availability: 8am to 6pm - Business Days + Oncall

Service Includes: provision, support, maintenance, upgrade, monitoring of the ethernet data network services from the fixed data socket through to the internet. Connection to the internet.
Service does not Include: Networking prior to the socket (eg., not responsible for support of devices connected - however this may be another service catalogue item). Non-ethernet compliant devices, no control for data networking once it leaves CSU intranet.
