Description: The provision of IT support for video conference systems used for teaching in specialist teaching areas (eg., Vet science, Dentistry)

Details: DIT provides limited technical support for video conferencing systems used in specialist teaching areas such as Vet science and Dentistry. The details of such service are agreed through a SLA (service level agreement) or MOU between DIT and the respective School or business unit

Service Status: Current

Service Includes: IT support as per the agreement, however the general principles of such support relate to providing verbal and written guidance and some limited technical assistance.

Service does not Include: Day to day technical support, repairs, upgrades and maintenance are not provide by DIT nor is ongoing funding for maintenance and upgrades. In general the business unit associated with the equipment is totally responsible for the day to day operation of the service.
